  8. I recently have been working on a htx100 with the aim of enhancing it's
  9. abilities. I have two points for you today. First there is an error in the
  10. "Enhancement of frequency response" text. The capacitor described as c75 is
  11. a 560 pf, not 56 pf as published.

  13. Secondly, I would like to contribute a new mod for this radio.

  15.                                                    Conversion to lower
  16. sideband.  
  17.  
  18. Remove power, antenna, and microphone.
  19. Remove upper and lower covers.
  20. Remove PLL board.
  21. Locate L12.  Beside L12 is a 12 pf capacitor, replace this with a 47 pf.
  22. Adjust L12 for best clarification on known signal source.
  23. Reassemble radio.
  24. You now have lower sideband and cw.
